Tina Kontogli
She was born in Patras in 1985. From 2003 to 2007 she attended drawing and color classes in private laboratories in Athens. In 2007 she was admitted to the Department of Fine and Applied Arts of the University of Western Macedonia, from where she graduated in 2012. In 2011 she took part in the Internship Program of Prespa Cultural Triangle (Renovation of Laimos Library Area), where there were included art activities with children using natural materials and space according to the natural environment. She completed her dissertation in the 2ndlaboratory of the School of Fine Arts, with professor Giannis Kastritsis. In 2018 she was chosen to participate in the Postgraduate Program of the Department of Primary Education and Social Work, for the acquisition of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education Sciences (Special Educational Needs of Children and Adolescents: Abilities and Learning Disabilities). In the context of her master's diploma, in 2020 she conducted a survey and research entitled ‘The effect of gestural art in individuals in the autistic spectrum’. Now is pending the award of the postgraduate diploma. Since 2014 she lives and works in Patras, as a visual artist, in the Center of Municipality of Patras for individuals with disabilities, from where she often draws issues while also receiving stimuli for her artwork.
