Dimitra Papageorgiou (Isiliel)

Dimitra Papageorgiou a.k.a. Isiliel, was born in 1972 in Athens, Greece and now lives in Thessaloniki. She has studied Photography, Reportage and Art History. Dimitra is expressing herself artistically, through a variety of mediums, such as painting, photography and recently analog and digital collage, and collage installations (locative collage, assemblage). Her key themes revolve around the human condition while at the same time they serve as a means of challenging many aspects of modern life and society. A common pattern seems to be transcendence and freedom, and a plethora of surreal elements and magical worlds. Dimitra has participated in exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
