ADD YOUR ART TO A GLOBAL ART LIBRARY FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
#Sketchbook4HumanRights is the world's first project that creates a library of sketchbooks by artists, based and inspired by Human Rights and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aspiring to strengthen cohesion and community relations with vulnerable social groups. Participating artists contribute to a mass movement, which will not only be characterized by the material part of a world collection and possibly physical exhibitions, but will be supplemented and reinforced through workshops, in order of transmitting knowledge and ideas for a sustainable future.
Can anyone participate?
Yes! All sketchbooks are accepted into the collection. We do not jury any of the work.
After you order a book, we’ll mail you a package containing an official sketchbook with a unique barcode on it and detailed instructions about the project.
Do I retain the copyright?
We have a major respect for artist ownership. By submitting to the project, you still retain ownership of your work. We own the physical sketchbook, but your work is your work. You do grant a license to use it as needed for the project, but we do our best to make sure you are always credited. We have NO plans to ever sell the original work, however, if that ever did come up, we MUST contact you with a responsible amount of time for you to respond.
Participate
Grab a sketchbook for yourself or for your creative friends! Our mission is to allow anyone to be creative! A Standard book lives in our library and will travel in the exhibits around the country. A Digitized book does the same and also gets photographed and added to our Digital Library!
In order to fund this free resource, we’re asking for just €60 per sketchbook. The money goes towards a real live human, who photographs EVERY SINGLE PAGE and uploads them to our site. It also covers all future hosting costs and additions we make to the site.
I’m part of a (school, art, bookmaking, etc.) group and we want to order a pack of books together.
Art clubs, sketch groups, families, classes or after school activities for kids? Whatever you call yourselves, we want you to participate. We now make it easier to buy multiple books at a discount.
Order five or more sketchbooks and receive an automatic 5% OFF and your order will automatically ship via Priority mail!
Anyone – from anywhere in the world – can be a part of the project.
